This was such a great conversation! With the return of Lylyth B. Faire (Formerly Becky) were joined by Sylvia Thomas and Korvin Bothwell. We looked into some of the issues facing the transgender community and their unique and sometimes tumultuous relationship with drag. While we may not have come to any decisive answers, we definitely gave a lot to chew on.
Korvin Bothwell is a former drag king entertainer and advocate for the transgender community. Under “About Me” on his facebook page Korvin describes himself as ” You only get the right side.”Sylvia Thomas is a woman of many talents . She describes herself as a “History Major advocating for LGBTQ equality and trying my best. ” Her best is pretty damn good.
