Mission

Created during the 2017 Interpride World Conference, On The Down Lola maintains it’s original mission to keep the conversations alive and share the stories and experiences of those in the LGBTQQIP2SAA (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Intersex, Pansexual, Twin Spirit, Asexual, and A Gendered) or SOGI (Sexual Orientation, Gender, and Identity) communities. Our mission is to build connections and positive community growth through real conversations about real topics. We have a parade of amazing guests. All with unique perspectives and stories to tell.

About The Host

Lola is a self-defined, professionally extra, Glamedy Queen. When not in the studio, you can find her fully made-up at numerous events around Indianapolis. She is a regular host for RuPaul’s Drag Race events around the city and is a charter member of the Midwest’s first ever all drag queen short-form improvisation comedy troupe, PINKSLIP! Lola enjoys long walks in the food court, snuggles with her bestie, and tacos. When she is not covered in glamour paint she works as the entertainment director for Indy Pride Festival and as a beauty culture educator.
